Welcome New York Ranger and hockey fans to my blog. This page will focus primarily on Gotham's Broadway Blueshirts, but we will also keep you up to date on the rest of the NHL as well. I'm new to all this website "stuff" (I know, I know - "Say what??"), so be patient with me!
Anyway, right now our boys in Blue, find themselves in 7th place in the Eastern Conference, 1 point ahead of Boston, 3 points behind Pittsburgh for 6th, and 4 points behind New Jersey for 5th following the Devils 3-2 shoot loss to Buffalo earlier tonight. The Rangers next hit the ice tomorrow night as the Anaheim Ducks visit the Garden. The Blueshirts are coming off a humiliating 4-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings who are dead last in the NHL with a 22-30-7 record and a measly 47 points! The big news was an incident that happened at practice today, when Sean Avery, whom I affectionately call "The Little Bastard", and Marek Malik, who we will refer to as "The Statue", got into a brawl at practice today. Sean apparently took exception to the fact that Frankenstein actually showed some heart for a change! Hey, congrats Lurch! Think you can take Avery up on his dare, and actually show up for a game?

So there is my first blog. Not bad huh? I will try and be a little more entertaining as I get more used to this blogging stuff. Also, don't forget to check out the list of links below, including CJ's blog. Yes, she is a Devil fan, but we'll cut her some slack, for now! ;-)
Anyway, the pucks drops at 7 pm tomorrow. We need to pile up some points in these next 3 games, being that the morons who make the schedules have us off for 5 days, following Sunday's tilt against the Capitals. Thanks a lot Bettman. Toolbag.
